Decor Policies

RESPONSIBLE USE:  NEVER release balloons into the environment. We will not sell balloons to anyone planning to release them into the outdoor spaces without containment. At the end of a balloon's life, cut the end of the balloon with scissors to remove any air or balloon gas, then dispose of it in the bin. Uninflated or burst balloons can present a choking hazard and should never be left with unsupervised children or animals. Store balloons away from children and pets to ensure that they cannot get themselves tangled with balloon ribbons or accidentally ingest popped balloons or their decorative contents such as confetti, feathers, or other materials.  Helium is not toxic nor flammable, however inhaling helium can result in loss of consciousness due to insufficient oxygen.

 

We use only the best and highest quality balloons, products, and techniques.  We make every possible effort to ensure that your décor will meet or exceed your expectations. However, because of the general and fragile nature of balloons, we will not be held responsible for the condition of such items after they have been provided in agreed upon condition. We cannot guarantee that your balloons will remain perfect and intact.  Some balloons will occasionally deflate sooner than expected.

 

To keep your balloons looking their best, we highly recommend indoor use, away from heat, direct sunlight, sharp or hot surfaces and any other spaces not best suited for items provided.

Balloons can be adversely affected by many factors such as hot or cold temperatures, humidity, direct sunlight, rough handling, sharp items, hot items, non-smooth surfaces, improperly handled/transported/stored items. Adverse effects include but are not limited to: damage, leakage, burst/popping, oxidation, color changing, and movement.

In addition to the standard considerations for décor, exposure to outdoor elements can lead to additional adverse effects., including but not limited to:  extreme heat or cold temperatures, direct sunlight, wind, rain, bugs/animals, surface issues and other uncontrollable factors. All outdoor installs must be conducted in a safe and responsible manner and customer should have a contingency plan.  If inclement weather, high winds, improper surfaces, or other conditions make it difficult or impossible to produce as specified, FME will do its best to be flexible with providing decor alternatives. In the event of cancellation without such a contingency, the customer agrees to compensate Fairytale Moments Events with the full payment. 

 

Balloons vary in colors, finish and transparency, Fairytale Moments Events will try to provide colors requested and match as closely as possible.  At times, we may be able to send pictures of previous work with specific colors or show a photo from catalog to try and assist client is getting the best color match, however colors can vary.

 

 

REMOVAL:

A removal/clean-up service fee is charged when we return to tear down the décor and retrieve our equipment. This is not required for all events. If removal is not required by us, the customer agrees to dispose of all materials responsibly.

 

EQUIPMENT/DAMAGES:

All embellishments and framework are the property of Fairytale Moments Events, and these items will be collected during the teardown of the event.  Once setup is complete, items/equipment, should not be moved unless otherwise advised.  If moved without authorization, a $100 fee will be assessed. If movement causes damage, damage cost will be in addition to this fee.  The customer is fully responsible for providing timely access to the event area for setup and teardown.  Should all equipment and materials not be available to retrieve from the location, the customer will be responsible for the replacement costs of the missing equipment or material.  Removal/Strike fee is not charged if handled by the client.  The client will be responsible for returning to us our equipment the day following the event unless otherwise agreed upon.

The client is responsible for all losses due to theft, vandalism, misplacement, or damage. In the event that our equipment is damaged, misplaced, or stolen, the client agrees to be billed and pay for the repair or replacement costs of the item(s).   Damage cost can include any costs incurred by Fairytale Moments Events or Your Ballon Lady, in the event that we need to make alternate arrangements for other events for which that damaged or missing item(s) were required. These fees will be in addition to replacement and can include but not be limited to rental costs of these items, cost of hiring another provider and/or labor and materials. If a damaged item only needs repair, repair costs will be incurred by the client.  If not paid timely, additional fees may apply, and we may take all appropriate recourse to resolve the matter.

 

A non-refundable retainer is due to book and confirm your event, once the price has been agreed upon. All payments must be received in a timely manner.  Late payments may be subject to additional fees.  There will be no refunds or discounts for loss, breakage, or failure to produce due to factors outside and beyond our control. Customer cancellations are subject to cancelation fees and the full agreed upon amount may still be due.  If payments are not received or reversed for any reason, the customer will be responsible to pay in full plus returned payment fees.  If not paid timely, additional fees may apply, and we may take all appropriate recourse to resolve the matter.

If we are unable to provide our services as planned due to a challenge on our end, in part or full, we will notify you as soon as possible.  We will make every effort to provide services as agreed upon. In the event we are unable to fulfill our duties, in part or full, we are committed to make it right including appropriate credits.  We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to determine appropriate actions.

Please read these Décor Policies (“Terms”, “Terms of Service”, “Policies”) carefully before using any services provided by Fairytale Moments Events (FME) or Your Ballon Lady.  All apply to both FME and Your Balloon Lady. Your use of services is conditioned upon your acceptance of and compliance with these terms.  By commissioning or using Fairytale Moments Events or Your Balloon Lady, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you should not use our services. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these terms, policies, and pricing at any time. Acceptance of terms and conditions is assumed as accepted and agreed upon once services are started/provided.
